BEAUTY TIPS FOR LONGER LASTING SKIN!
 

I know we are all very busy, but taking a few minutes to reconsider our beauty habits can pay of a great deal. Here are a few tips.

 

 1. Be realistic, stick to a budget

Constancy is the key, rather tan buying an expensive cream once and no using anything at all later. Budget how much you can afford to spend in your beauty products and stick to it.

 

2. No impulsive purchases please!

Have you ever been tempted to buy that expensive “marvellous” cream when approached by the shop assistant? Only to come back to you usual “budget one later on. If you are to buy in a high street shop ask the assistant if she/he works for the company, you will be amazed how much personnel are hired in a day basis with non or very little knowledge of the products they are selling.

 

3. A little bit of research

Nowadays lots of creams claim to be anti ageing, but most of them target specific problems. Bear in mind that wrinkles contribute around 30% to the overall ageing look, the others are tone, texture and colour. Your beauty therapist will be able to suggest a suitable product, otherwise do your homework have a good look in a mirror, with an old portrait of you and see what has change, what bothers you the most and then look for the appropriate products.

 

4. Percentage is the key

Vitamin A, Vitamin C, collagen, Oxygen, Elastin, algae extract, Essential oil and so on. Even the cheapest creams claim to have them among their ingredients… but, how much of it? So, before you buy a cream check the concentration. As a rule expensive creams have higher concentration of therapeutic ingredients and better quality emulsions.

 

5. Sunscreens

Sunscreens use great amount of space in a cream, leaving very little space for other therapeutic ingredients. You might be better off buying a separate good quality sunscreen.

 

6. Using sugar as face scrubs

There are certainly effective in exfoliating the skin just be careful, specially big grains which are to coarse and can micro-scar your skin. A good scrub have small rounded particles which do the job without scaring. By the way be aware of cheap scrubs as well!

 

7. Now and again… treat yourself

Many clients report that experiencing even the simplest  beauty therapy treatment  leaves them and feeling relaxed, energised and optimistic. Apart from  looking better

 

8. Needless to say:

  • Drink as much water as you feel comfortable with
  • Eat as healthy as you can
  • No sunbathing please! Fake tan has come long way, so there's no reason to age yourself prematurely!
  • Exercise regularly. Walking is especially good for cellulite.
  • Relax as often as you can.
  • Enjoy life
